Summer (post exams)

After the stress of Trinity, I will have the Magdalen Commemoration Ball (170 pounds a ticket and absolutely worth it in my opinion) to cool my nerves and get me drunk. Then on the 1st of July I jet of to Sangro Valley to unearth the secrets of the earth. In other words, I’m going on a dig, living in an Italian village where not one of the locals speak English, picking apart the ground with my tools, discovering new things and having a good old explore. Sangro Valley is a river area miles from Rome where they have a project running with the University of Ohio…which means delicious American Historians. :) Even better.
I’m in that region of Italy for a month and a bit (until the 6th) digging away (lots of exercise!) then I have free reign of what to do. SO, I’m doing a bit of travelling and am planning on spending another couple of weeks in Rome or flying over to Paris and abusing the Museums.

YES.
